The Role...

Reporting to the Head of Internal Communications, UK&I this is a new role, ideally located in Dublin, though with options to be located elsewhere. The role plays an integral part in telling our people story by supporting the UK&I People team with the communication and engagement of our people strategy and plan.

The role will combine excellent internal communication expertise with deep understanding of cultural transition in an organisation that is going through a transformative period. You will work within divisional People function to help shape and develop the Flutter UK&I narrative and develop plans that bring it to life for our people.


What You'll Be Doing...

  • Support creation of a people story that helps explain who we are and how we operate
  • Create and execute the people communication strategy and plan that helps colleagues connect with our people story. This includes teams across the group and within the People team – creating and managing effective communication channels and messages
  • Support the divisional transformation programme by creating comms plans and activities that help colleagues understand how we are evolving our operations and services -managing multiple and complex communication plans with multiple senior stakeholders
  • Support the people plan by creating engaging plans and activities that bring to life our key employee experience priorities like D&I, Reward and Recognition, well-being etc
  • Provide day to day support including coaching, advice and guidance to the senior management team and managers within group to encourage them to increase their effectiveness as communicators
  • Work closely with Senior Execs to establish comms plans for key business themes such as Safer Gambling, regulation and future strategy.
  • Collaborate with designers, web developers and marketing communications professionals to create internal communications material, such as Web pages, e-mail messages and posters.
  • React quickly with the executive committee to handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organisational perception and reputation.
  • Build excellent relationships with stakeholders across business functions and geographic locations.


What We're Looking For...

  • At least 3 years' experience working at a management level in internal communication with a sound knowledge of communication best practice or can demonstrate the essential skills required.
  • Proven track record in the delivery of high-impact internal and change communication action plans to help deliver desired business outcomes.
  • Sound business acumen, good organisational awareness and strategic approach to problem solving.
  • Significant ability to manage multiple programmes and projects and senior stakeholders with potentially conflicting priorities
  • Ability to work on your own to drive business outcomes based on insight provided and where necessary commission bespoke reports
  • Professionally qualified to degree level or equivalent.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the credibility to advise senior managers and directors. Ability to build constructive and collaborative working relationships.
  • Excellent written and presentation communication skills
