The Role...

As part of the Group Global Betting Platform (GBP) function, will serve as the owner for the GBP Shared Codebase process, artifacts, and quality indicators. Will work closely with the Group Technical Services Manager to make sure that Group level guidelines/principles for both the suite of globally available technology tools and the global Shared Codebase approach are leveraged within the GBP domain.

What You'll be Doing... 

  • The shared codebase model is implemented and leveraged;
  • That a governance framework and related documentation for the Shared Codebase implementation exists;
  • That an end-state vision exists on the shared codebase model as well as the path to achieve and develop it;
  • Contribute to improving the Group shared codebase strategy;
  • Assure that the quality of the code in the GBP is maintained through the Shared codebase agreements and mechanisms;
  • Provide clarity on the right standards, tooling, and automation needed for all teams & division delivering through GBP;
  • Research and analyze operating models to support the implementation and optimization of GBP Shared Codebase model;
  • To partner with division users on the transition to implement the Shared Codebase model in place for GBP providing training and/or maturity assessments on both tooling and process;
  • To champion the GBP Shared Codebase methodology to internal/external stakeholders •
  • To be an active part of an internal shared codebase community to encourage knowledge sharing and cross-divisional collaboration
