The Role...

As Product Analyst you will be part of a team that provides data-driven insights about customer behaviours and Product opportunities ​to Paddy Power and Betfair Commercial teams.

This is what you'll be doing...  

  • Data Enablement: extracting and manipulating vast, complex data sets from multiple sources including cloud, data warehouse and online applications. Also, being an advocate for our Google Analytics integration thereby safe-guarding data quality and the integrity of analysis that consumes that data.
  • Insight Generation: transforming and interpreting  data into actionable insights about our customers and their behaviour.
  • Reporting & Visualization: presenting results and data using tools including Looker, Powerpoint, R, etc. Flexing your communication style to meet the needs of various audiences.
  • Product Optimization: driving a data-driven approach to the Product lifecycle which includes hypothesis setting, estimating test duration/cohort and analysis and communication of results.
  • Backlog Management: prioritizing projects for self and team ensuring maximum business value.

Do you have what it takes? We are looking for candidates with the following education, qualifications & experience...

  • A degree or higher in either Mathematics, Computer Science, or similar 
  • 2+ years' experience in a hands-on Analyst role or similar
  • Expertise with Python and SQL programming languages
  • Excellent communication skills, and experience explaining technical projects to senior and non-technical audiences 
  • Strong numerical and data abilities 
  • Knowledge of software development good practices
