The Role...

The Senior Manager Physical Security Regional Security will play a critical role in keeping our staff safe and secure. You'll work directly with the Head of CRE Operations and cross-functional teams to support physical security operations in our European offices. Ideal candidates are passionate about leadership, security operations, project management, customer service, and building a team. This position is based in Dublin and may require domestic and international travel.

 

What You'll Be Doing...

  • Manage day-to-day security operations for regional offices, respond swiftly and calmly to security situations as they arise.
  • This role will be responsible for investigations, health and safety compliance, security risk management, travel safety, event security, security budgeting, crisis management and emergency response, loss management, and physical security system management.
  • Proficiently utilize and monitor the access control and alarm monitoring system in use and the integrated CCTV monitoring system.
  • Perform various security inspections, audits and investigations as required and as instructed.
  • Under the guidance of the Head of CRE Op's, document security protocols and guidelines for regional locations including access control standards and policies, security guard operations and deployment, technical security solutions, safety, and emergency preparedness protocols and training for staff; liaison with individual offices and local law enforcement.
  • Develop and train staff on occupant emergency plans and incident response protocols as well as manage the regional ERT program.
  • Work closely with the Global CRE Team to assist in the deployment of security systems and technology at regional offices.
  • Partner with Workspace teams as well as other business functions such as IT, Legal and HR.
  • Maintain regular communications with a variety of stakeholders, to ensure that all parties are well informed.
  • Complete risk assessments and manage physical security risk register.
  • Project management and budgeting
  • Produce monthly security reports to be issued to the business.
  • Maintain appropriate metrics to monitor improvement plans, and to measure compliance against objectives
  • Take the business to the next level in terms of physical security-Analyse data to form proposals for improvements (e.g. implementation of new technology)
  • Create and manage senior executive risk assessments, for day to day activities and travel.

 

What We're Looking For...

  • 6+ years of experience managing safety and security operations, ideally in fast paced technology or creative office environments developing security/safety programs and incident response plans.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of physical security best practices to include but not limited to application of physical security systems, investigation techniques, management of contract security guards and incident management.
  • Knowledge of global technical security monitoring systems with experience reviewing architectural plans and planning physical security design.
  • Depth of experience and cultural understanding within regional countries.
  • Understanding of local codes, regulations and working environment for the region.
  • Experience of working with vendors and managing a contracted guard force.
  • Use the information gathered to complete detailed computer based incident reports
  • Capable of learning and using company tools for data gathering for security purposes and data analysis.
  • Ability to work and travel as required by the business needs, including weekends and various shifts.

Basic Qualifications

  • Good analytical skills.
  • Good leadership skills and experience.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with care.
  • Ability to integrate into an international work environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 years plus experience in Physical and Corporate Security.
  • Considerable knowledge of state-of-the-art security technology including access control & CCTV systems. (Experience with various Access Control & Alarm Monitoring System is a plus).
  • CPP/PSP Certification preferred.
