The Role...

Reporting to the Commercial Director of Betfair Gaming UKI, you'll be tasked with the commercial responsibility of the PBX product verticals. You'll have ownership of a retention budget and full responsibility for its allocation. You'll manage a team of two and work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders to drive sustainable growth for the businesses.


What You'll be Doing... 


Gaming Leadership Team Responsibilities

  • Collectively define the strategy of the Gaming Business with a specific focus on key outcomes, initiatives and results. Hold accountability against the commitments taken with the business and deliver against those by driving key strategic projects.
  • Represent the Betfair Gaming business within the wider Flutter organization and the industry, developing strong relationships in the relevant business areas and influencing key stakeholders.
  • Take collective ownership of the engagement, wellbeing, motivation, reward, cohesion and development of the Betfair Gaming team members.
  • Periodically and collectively assess the performance of the Gaming team members in a fair and consistent way to ensure a meritocratic approach towards excellence.
  • Discuss, review and implement ways of working and processes, internally within the Betfair Team as well as externally with supporting functions and suppliers.



  • Overall responsibility for the Betfair PBX proposition and revenue targets.
  • Work closely with the performance team to ensure the narrative on the performance is clear and communicated sharply.


Marketing and Product

  • Delivery of the PBX customer proposition through brand, marketing and product.
  • Development of the monthly and quarterly retention marketing plans and budget for the three products.
  • Manage a team of two to deliver those plans through best in class marketing campaigns. Liaise with and lead a cross location and cross functional team (e.g. CRM, Operations, Planning) to execute brilliantly.
  • Working closely with the rest of Betfair Gaming, Priority, Product, Operations, and other Flutter's commercial owners to understand and feed into the product development strategy, stay abreast of the roadmap for delivery of new product, and to incorporate these new products/ features into marketing plans.
  • Organising and executing on a strategic plan for participation in Live events (ex: Irish Open).
  • Continuously maintain our relationship with our top Poker partners and affiliates.



  • Working with Operations to maintain high standards - to ensure the site operates as expected.
  • Maximising the value of on-site real estate.
  • Creating and delivering a roadmap of ongoing tests and driving an agenda of continuous improvement.
  • Working collaboratively and leverage key external stakeholders such as Virtue Fusion and iPoker.
  • Liaising with Bingo Chat Moderators to ensure our marketing initiatives are communicated to players and feedback loop is in place.
  • Ensuring all customer escalations raised are dealt with in an appropriate manner, and that customer service have the tools they require to effectively answer queries


What We're Looking For... 

  • Creative thinking in developing a rolling calendar of campaigns targeting a variety of customer segments and preferences. Experienced in marketing at a micro level (extremely personalised, targeted marketing campaigns)
  • Project, process and time management skills enabling campaigns are consistently delivered on time and to spec despite various disparate stakeholders and work streams 
  • Strong reporting and data analysis skills to identify key insights, value creation opportunities and process or performance improvements, which are all subsequently deployed back into the campaign planning process
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills with excellent knowledge of presentation tools 
    Demonstrable knowledge of and interest in the real money gaming landscape of suppliers & competitors 
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in an e-commerce or m-commerce environment 
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in a B2C Marketing role
  • Experience in people management
