Due to the merger in 2020 we are currently undergoing significant reward transformation, in particular within our European-based divisions where we have co-located colleagues. As part of this transformation we will be creating a Reward Centre of Excellence (“COE”) to deliver all reward strategy and services to three divisions (UK & Ireland, International and Group Functions). The Reward Director will be responsible for setting-up the COE and, whilst reporting to the CPO for UK&I, will provide services across the 3 divisions and have very strong working relationships with the International and Group Functions CPOs.
The role holder will establish a deep understanding of the different divisional business challenges and interpret Group philosophy to deliver the reward strategy, policies and processes for the divisions. Whilst one strategy will be in place, ensuring that this can be nuanced to meet the requirements of the different divisions will be important.
The role holder will be responsible for setting-up the European reward team and transitioning the outputs of the transformation work into the team for operational and ongoing delivery and development. The COE will be responsible for delivering reward strategy, reward business partnering, compensation, benefits and reward communications.
The role holder will proactively identify reward needs on a current and forward looking basis and partner with CPOs, HR Business Partners and business Leaders to lead on reward matters.
