The Role…

The Alium Project Manager will lead a number of co-located Delivery Squads within a Delivery Tribe. The delivery Tribe in question is a transformation Tribe that is working within an area to evolve delivery mechanisms and capabilities to work at a Global Scale (Global Contributors serving Global Consumers).

In collaboration with other Project Managers within the Tribe this position will be responsible for optimising the velocity of the Delivery Squads by helping to define, implement and ratifying frameworks for how we work together as a Global Tribe, which can be replicated by future Global Initiatives and which still complements how local divisional teams work.  

This role will be responsible for implementing Agile best practices for Software Project Management Activities and facilitating cross functional communication. This position also defines the metrics to be used to track process improvement during the development lifecycle and will represents the team at Release level to report status of multiple Agile feature teams to leadership.

What You'll be Doing...
Key Responsibilities:

  • Servant leader to multiple Delivery Squads
  • Collaborate with other PM's to Implement processes, practices and tools which allow simplified, consistent, reusable, efficient and flexible delivery frameworks
  • Recommend improvements and drive alignment across the Delivery Tribe
  • Guide the Agile at scale initiatives through coaching and mentoring
  • Lead and influence others on best practices
  • Manage partnerships with external vendors
  • Inspire others to adopt the new processes and improvements based on program retrospectives
  • Implement and facilitate mechanisms for sharing knowledge within the Tribe you work in and to other Delivery Tribes
  • Drive Innovation within this transformation tribe to enable the teams to create Frameworks with the maximum amount of reusability.

What We're Looking For...

  • Agile technical project manager with experience of multiple software releases
  • Work across multiple technical teams to develop the Tribe solutions
  • Organize and execute software team training, mentoring and Agile Sprint Ceremonies
  • Worked with tools to support multiple code stream
  • Support Continuous builds and integration environment
  • Knowledge and experience of managing teams building software using AWS services.
  • Certified Agile Scrum Master to train the team on Agile best practices including Create and manage work item tracking in Target Process, tracking epics, features, stories and tasks and also raising and escalating impediments as needed.
  • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Lead multiple Agile teams on Agile methodologies with knowledge of embedded SDLC process
  • Value Proposition: Knowledge of procedures used to demonstrate the ROI of the solution
  • Basic Project Management: Knowledge of project management principles and the ability to apply the principles, tools and techniques to develop/plan, manage or execute projects or work plans to ensure successful completion (e.g., on time, within budget).
