The Role

The Product Planning and Performance Executive will be PPB's key source of understanding of our customers' digital experience across all products and platforms. You will be working on projects to ensure data collation and tools are in place to consistently, reliably and accurately track our customers' digital product experience. Using this data you will be generating insights to identify Product opportunities and make recommendations to teams that will ensure we are providing our customers with the best digital products and that we are their favourite online betting site.

The role will require you to work closely with Product and Technology teams to drive further understanding of site performance and how our customers interact and behave onsite through the use of quantitative and qualitative data. Some questions you will be helping to answer are;

  • Speed and Performance– How fast is our site?
  • On-Site Survey (NPS)– How do our customers rate us?
  • App store market trends – What other apps are our customers using?
  • Onsite Behaviour – Where are customers displaying struggle?


What you will be doing


Customer Experience

  • Champions the needs of customers; supports teams to define and deliver solutions that exceed customer expectations; prioritises customer satisfaction and builds commitment in others to provide outstanding service
  • Help teams to understand drivers of performance, behavioural attributes pain points, customer journeys and uses evidence to demonstrate customer needs
  • Work with the Product teams to identify opportunities to improve the customers' onsite experience
  • Metric obsessed, monitors and reports on product performance and customer KPIs, aligned to the overall PPB strategic goals

Business Acumen

  • Ensure alignment and availability of Metrics to support measurement of Product Strategy
  • Provide clear analysis, insights and reporting
  • Work with Product and Commercial stakeholders to make decisions based on data
  • Responsible for making recommendations on performance improvement decisions to Product teams

Market Orientation

  • Has a good understanding of drivers of customer behaviour and commercial performance
  • Has a good understanding and insight into product, technology and market trends to define and recommend opportunities and influence strategy

Technical Skills

  • Ability to measure and track key product performance and report clearly and concisely
  • Work with customer facing, Commercial, Trading, Exchange and Technical teams to identify optimisation opportunities and improve product performance
  • Support and work with teams during product launches to measure performance
  • Proactively interrogates data to derive insights that highlight potential customer problems or opportunities to improve existing Products
  • Proficient in SQL, Excel and Google Analytics
  • Use hypotheses methodology to structure questions and insights

What We're Looking For...
Skills & Experience Required:

  • 1+ years' experience as an analyst, supporting operational and/or commercial teams in industry
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Experience of working in project groups
  • Proficient in Excel, SQL and Google Analytics
  • Knowledge of online/offline sports betting and gaming an advantage
  • Having a naturally inquisitive mind-set is a must. Wanting to understand behaviour, look for patterns, and find great things are key for the role
