Purpose of the Role

Gaming product develop and support the core platform capabilities & customer experiences across Paddy Power & Betfair. We are looking for a forward-thinking, customer-centric, commercially savvy Product Executive. Someone who understands the mindset of the player and is passionate about delivering the best possible product to our customers.

This is an important role within the Central Product team and we are looking for ambitious, dedicated candidates who want to develop their careers and go on to deliver great work in product management. The Product Executive is accountable for delivering high quality products and contributing to the delivery of a top class customer experiences.


Role Responsibilities

Supporting delivery of great product: This person will support the Gaming Product Managers in the delivery of major product developments from research phase, through specification and delivery to benefit actualisation. This person will work as part of the Central Product Team to identify opportunities to go after and will own delivery of revenue driving product initiatives via the continuous improvement stream.

Working on go-to-market plans: This person will work with internal stakeholders to ensure that they are prepared for major product releases, including but not limited to

- Operations teams – getting them up to speed with learning how to operate new products day-to-day.
- Commercial teams – giving them an accurate product release plans and giving them an overview of what the benefits of new product are.
- Gaming Support teams – ensuring that they're ready to meet any questions on day 1 of new product releases.

Prioritising development resource: This person will work with internal stakeholders to understand the needs of each department and will use this information to feed into prioritisation decisions on each new development.

Reporting & Analysis: This person needs to be able to deliver analysis when required and in different formats, as required. This person will be responsible for competitor and product analysis and will need to present findings to both the commercial and product teams on a regular basis.

Collating the best content catalogue in our markets This person will work with the product team, Paddy Power & Betfair stakeholders in order to analyse our customer base and learn what content works best for our customers. They will analyse providers and studios in the market and support the product managers in evaluating & prioritising commercial partnerships.

- Relationship building: a key part of this role will be building and maintaining successful working relationships with a number of key stakeholders both internally and externally .The successful person in this role will be able to demonstrate strong relationship management skills.

- Strong communication skills: The person in this role will be responsible for producing high quality presentation material, so therefore an excellence in written communication is necessary. This person will have a keen eye for detail and a creative flair. The successful candidate must be able to communicate with stakeholders clearly across all business levels and with the appropriate professionalism and gravitas.

- Understanding of Product Management processes: The person who is successful in applying for this role will demonstrate knowledge of product management principles, such as customer research and analysis, identifying customer pain points and major business opportunities and using these to build specifications for great products.
