The Product Executive will be responsible for developing the Betfair Sports Product and supporting other key initiatives aligned to the Betfair Strategy. 

This role will work with the broader Betfair team to deliver a market leading product experience for highly engaged sports bettors through the distinct Betfair brand. 

You will be obsessed with how Betfair customers interact with our products, using data and insights to ensure we develop a pipeline of compelling products that differentiate Betfair in the minds of our customers. 

You will also work closely with a broader community of product managers to share and leverage best practice. 



The Product Executive – Betfair Sports will:

Customer Focus

  • Work with the Product Manager and Insights team to clearly articulate the respective customer “why” behind initiatives.
  • Understand distinct segment personas, drivers of performance, behavioural attributes pain points and customer journeys and use evidence to demonstrate customer needs.
  • Capture and translate customer needs into requirements and priorities.
  • Obsess about driving positive impact to Betfair customers, measuring and tracking key product performance.

Product Lifecycle Management

  • Live and breathe evidence-based product development and day-to-day management.
  • Work with other Product Managers, Commercial P&L, Customer Insights, Customer Support, Operations, Product Delivery and Technical teams to identify opportunities and improve product performance.
  • Co-ordinate competitor and market activity monitoring and continuously assess strengths, weaknesses and opportunities for the Betfair product.
  • Coordinate product launches with the Product Manager, Marketing and P&L teams.

Stakeholder management

  • Ensure all initiatives have defined customer needs, clearly articulated through product lean canvas and success metrics that describe measurable changes to customer behaviour and commercial performance.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define & communicate the product outcomes.

Education, Qualifications & Experience

Do you have an understanding of online product management?

Do you have knowledge of the sports/betting industry? This would be an advantage but not a pre requisite to apply
