The Flutter group are in the process of undergoing an HR Transformation in a number of areas. This includes strategy shaping, Service delivery, supplier management and technology consolidation.

The Technology of choice is Workday. This workstream within the wider programme will involve implementation of core HCM data supplemented by a number of modules covering the Hire to Retire processes.

Role overview

Reporting to the Workday Programme Lead the PMO Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the Workday Workstream meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This includes focus on project management support, including help setting deadlines, prioritising tasks, and assigning team members to various deliverables. Analysing financial data, including project budgets, Risks, Issues, Decisions, Dependencies and resource allocation.

 

PMO responsibilities

  • Help develop and drive the PMO strategy and framework for Programme use
  • Ensure the successful implementation of the PMO strategy, responsibilities, services and deliverables.
  • Monitor Programme reporting and assist the HR Programme Manager in reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Oversee project costs and ensure finances are well managed
  • Track cost-benefit analyses to support business case implementation with identified costs
  • Provide and maintain a capacity planning and resource tracking service across the Programme
  • Update and maintain the Risk, Action, Decisions, Dependencies and Issue Log
  • Ensure the appropriate programme benefits are identified, quantified and their realisation planned
  • Track financial reporting whilst ensuring that the programme and projects adhere to the corporate financial processes
  • Provide a quality assurance role in line with defined Programme Management Office Framework.
  • Coordinate project closure to distil good practice and ensure lessons learned are logged.
  • Provide Project planning, Milestone management, Scope management, Resource forecasting; Financial Management; Change Management across the project portfolio
  • Prepare regular status reporting to all levels of the business
  • Ensure efficient change control methods and process are utilised

 

Technical Knowledge & Experience 

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant project management or PMO management experience.
  • PRINCE2 Foundation, or equivalently qualified in similar project management methodologies e.g. MSP, Agile
  • Knowledge of Transformation Programmes (preferably HR Transformation)

 

Behavioural Competencies

  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt communication and engagement styles according to the audience
  • Focus on delivering high quality engagement and deliverables to a defined plan and ability to mentor the extended change team to deliver this
  • Flexible, cooperative and comfortable working with multiple different teams, ensuring that all points of view are considered
