Marketing Data Analyst
Reports to: Marketing Insights Manager
Reporting to the Marketing Insights manager, the role is responsible for supporting the delivery of insight on marketing activities to prospects and customers. The successful candidate will use logical thinking and creativity in problem solving and will be adept at data management and analysis. Comfortable with large datasets and ambiguous questions, the successful candidate will play a key role in delivering insight on the value of marketing across CRM, Paid & Organic Search, and digital activities. Supporting the Insights teams on new measurement frameworks, functional test insights, and ad hoc requests.
Formulating, distilling and communicating insights around Customer Relationship Management, and Paid & Organic Search. In particular:
Additionally, supporting the Marketing Evaluation and Insights team with access to and provision of data and analysis.
Supporting marketing and brand stakeholders with data and insights as required, including: data auditing, sense checking model outputs, developing new analysis, and visualisations.
Use a variety of data sources to apply creative thinking in solving business problems.
Ensure best practice is followed with regards to data, analysis, and reporting.
Work closely with stakeholders to ensure access to relevant insights and data.
Ensuring that comprehensive and clear documentation is maintained.
Address ad hoc questions in a timely manner from colleagues in marketing/brand/finance/commercial.
Skills and Experience:
Degree qualification in a quantitative (STEM) field.
Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly.
Established presentation skills that enable insight to be taken from complex data sets or concepts.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Aptitude for problem solving.
Excellent project management skills.
Skilled with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Happy to begin working in a remote environment.
Experience in a data driven environment delivering insight and/or reporting.
Proven experience in an analytical role.
Experience with SQL, tableau (or equivalent data visualisation tool)
Experienced with data analysis application e.g. R, python, SAS, etc.
Experience working with Big Data.
Knowledge of marketing concepts and media capabilities.
Knowledge of Sports betting, Exchange, Gaming or Social gaming businesses.
