The Role..



The L&D team supports the development of approximately 7000 employees PPB. We create impactful learning and development interventions to ensure that our people can excel in their roles, progress their careers and deliver for the business.


The Learning Partner will create and deliver learning initiatives across PPB. You'll work closely with our HR team and various business departments to develop the knowledge, skill and attitudes of our people and will be able to quantify the business benefits of your work. This role will particularly be focusing on designing and delivering internal management and leadership development programmes to support our managers and leaders to be successful. As well as designing and delivering resources to support colleagues



What You'll be Doing..



  • Understanding the key qualities and skills that drive our business priorities in 2021
  • Deliver internal management and leadership programmes
  • Deliver our Management and Development Programme and make changes where necessary to keep content relevant and align with current and future business requirements
  • Liaise with HR Business partners to design and deliver programmes for senior managers and heads of functions
  • Collaborates internally and externally to lead the design of major programmes / interventions to bridge the identified gaps
  • Supports delivery of induction, virtual sessions and bespoke learning courses as required
  • Advises colleagues and managers on appropriate development options
  • Continually seeks improvement in the organisation's learning and talent development offering to maximise impact and meet the evolving needs of the business
  • Generates enthusiasm for and commitment to L&D initiatives and practices which enable establishment of a learning culture
  • Pilots and evaluates learning and development initiatives for effectiveness, business relevance and efficiency, and continually seeks ways to improve learning activity
  • Works with colleagues in the wider Talent and HR teams to provide learning resources to campaigns such as Conferences and Forums, Diversity & Inclusion campaigns and Performance Management



What We're Looking for..


  • 3 Years + Experience in design, delivery and facilitation of management and leadership programmes is essential
  • Training Design & Delivery ideally with experience in face to face, virtual and fully digital environments is essential
  • Experience in delivering soft skill courses e.g. communication, assertiveness, stakeholder management etc
  • Experience in delivering in virtual environments and hybrid business models desirable
  • Able to apply the principles of adult learning theory to own practice
  • Able to ascertain gaps in Knowledge, Skill and Attitude and create and deliver learning interventions to improve performance
  • Able to evaluate a learning intervention and demonstrate value to key stakeholders
  • Experience of uploading and managing content on a learning management systems (LMS) and managing the administration of same
