As the Leadership Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing top leadership talent to fuel our growth and take Flutter's UK&I division to the next level.


What you'll do:


  • Manage end-to-end search assignments for senior hires from ‘Head of' to executive level, from inputting into org design & role creation, through to offer & onboarding.
  • Partner with leaders & colleagues in People to understand future leadership hiring needs, utilizing talent assessment & succession planning outputs, to influence external talent sourcing strategy.
  • Develop strong relationships with senior leaders, being able to tailor your comms to the audience and flexing your work style to balance the differing needs of stakeholders.
  • Build & manage external talent pools and source candidates for open critical hires, from mapping & research, to candidate contact & engagement etc.
  • Design thorough search processes, including a project plan with key milestones and measures of success at each stage; provide detailed updates to key stakeholders on progress.  
  • Build broad and deep knowledge of Flutter UK&I & Group Function's business landscape, so you can educate and engage senior candidates and excite them about our vision & opportunities.
  • Champions inclusion & diversity in leadership hiring; ensures our shortlists & talent pools are diverse and our hiring practices are inclusive.
  • Takes part in interview panels; understands a range of leadership interview types & techniques. Administers & interprets psychometric assessments, ability & personality.
  • Handle complex offer negotiations of reward packages, collaborating with colleagues in People Experience & Reward to achieve successful acceptance.
  • Influence senior leaders up to executive level on resourcing strategy; provide thought leadership & guidance, using external market intelligence and business insight to inform decision-making & affect change; manage their expectations.
  • If necessary, partner with executive search firms on key assignments. Act as a conduit between hiring manager/Chief of Staff and lead on tasks such as contract negotiation, whilst managing the process to ensure successful completion.
  • Be a key player in Flutter UK&I's Talent Acquisition team –  seeking to change, disrupt and for opportunities to improve everything we do.


What you'll have:


  • Experience of recruiting for senior leadership roles, either in-house or with a recruitment business (executive search firm preferred).
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the credibility and ability to influence at senior executive / board-level.
  • Adept at working with data – able to generate insight and use this to influence & inform decision-making.
  • A firm grasp of project management fundamentals and an understanding of search methodology.
  • An obsession with candidate experience and offering an A1 service 100% of the time.
  • A proactive mindset – provides solutions to problems ahead of time and has a relentless drive for improvement.
  • Ideally a trained test user in personality & ability.
