The Role....

As a result of the recent merger, a reward transformation programme is underway looking at how we align our approach to reward across our International (Pokerstars, Betfair International), UK&I (Paddy Power, Betfair, SBG) and Flutter Corporate divisions. In particular, the focus will be on our alignment of compensation, benefits and reward policy and processes across these divisions.  

Work has begun to identify the different benefits philosophies and understand the details of the different offerings, we are also streamlining our benefits brokers and investigating suitable benefits portal technology. 

We have a need for a Head of Benefits to join the reward centre of expertise team to lead on the implementation of the transformation of benefits as well as to manage the benefits offer on an ongoing basis.


What You'll Be Doing...

  • Bring creativity to the Flutter benefits strategy to deliver a best in class benefits experience to serve the needs of the business and the aspirations of our diverse employee groups.
  • Consider the offer through the different lenses of wellbeing and employee engagement.
  • Identify trends and maintain and develop Flutter's competitive position in the market.
  • Collaborate with other Divisional Benefits leaders and the Group Reward Team.
  • Develop a communication strategy to optimise the understanding and utilisation of benefits options to enhance employee engagement.
  • Responsible for the ongoing development of the Total Reward portal working closely with the wider reward teams.
  • Initiate improvements to existing processes, practices and policies and lead with managing change.
  • Partner with the Flutter Wellness community to ensure that all wellness resources at our disposal are being effectively utilised, adding value from our benefits partners as relevant.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders (Finance, Tax, Mobility, Payroll, Legal, HR Business Partners,) to ensure efficient plan administration and excellent employee experience.
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders and suppliers (consultants, brokers and advisors). Monitor performance of service providers and various brokers and hold them accountable for performance measures.
  • Responsible for brokerage, governance and coordination of Pension arrangements in multiple geographies.
  • Develop and maintain the benefits budget and take responsibility for contract renewals and negotiations.
  • Ensure benefits and pensions compliance and audit requirements are met with appropriate governance structures in place
  • Responsible for the cost optimisation of benefit programs across UK&I,International and Group functions.
  • Partner with Global Mobility Manager and other internal stakeholders on international benefit matters pertaining to employee's benefits for immigration cases and country transfers
  • Lead on benefits subjects related to M&A activity and for new country set up.
  • Develop business cases for additional investment that may be required to enhance the current offering and present to the senior leadership team.
  • Set-up and develop a high performing benefits team as part of the Reward Centre of Excellence


What You'll Be Doing...

  • An experienced Head of Benefits with a passion for innovation and employee experience.
  • Significant experience of working across European countries and ideally within a Centre of Excellence model
  • Experience of developing a high performing team through leadership, coaching and performance management.
  • An individual who is confident in navigating within a complex environment, demonstrating intellectual curiosity, strategic orientation and an ability to work well with ambiguity.
  • Someone with strong view of the evolution of Benefits offering to provide solutions that are fit for future ways of working.
  • Strong influencing skills with the ability to create data driven business cases and present to C Suite audiences.
  • Ability to explain benefits policy, processes and data results to a broad range of business stakeholders including Senior Directors, HR and business management.
  • Demonstratable experience of educating, coaching and/or challenging stakeholders to ensure alignment with policy and process.
  • Ability to manage external vendors and the delivery on SLAs.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel knowledge with proven analytical skills and good experience of interpreting and producing high quality, accurate analysis and insights from data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy team.
  • Be creative, have a passion for delivering a high-quality service and will go the extra mile to get things done well.
