The Role...

Gaming Product Manager will have the responsibility to deliver products that bring the Betfair brand to life at every gaming product touch point.

The role will be to live and breathe how our customers interact with our gaming products to ensure we deliver an easy & speedy, engaging, innovative and above all safe set of customer experiences that helps Betfair win in a highly competitive, regulated market.

The Gaming Product Manager will help shape & execute against a vision & strategy for how Betfair can leverage its significant software development resources to create a differentiated and market leading mobile led gaming offering.

The successful candidate will report to the Betfair Head of Gaming Product and will work closely with the broader Betfair Gaming Tribe to ensure maximum alignment across our strategic pillars.

 

What you will be doing... 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the Betfair gaming product performance and user experiences will be on a par with or exceed industry leading digital experiences
  • Align with key stakeholders in Commercial, Marketing, Tech, Compliance, Insight, Design amongst other areas to validate, refine and optimise Betfair Gaming product strategy & roadmap priorities based on customer insight, relevant data, commercial performance, regulatory requirements and the competitive market context
  • Ensure the product experience across all gaming products i.e. Sportsbook, Exchange, Casino, PBX, aligns with the overall Betfair gaming customer proposition
  • Ensure all Betfair Gaming front end experiences and interactions are optimized to deliver an experience that is true to the Betfair brand
  • Ensure optimisation of Betfair Gaming Product across our range of sites & apps with a particular focus on front end, in order to serve customer demand and improve commercial performance.
  • Work with Central Gaming Product and Technology teams to define and deliver the platform foundations that power the Betfair Gaming experience.
  • Work with Central Gaming Product and Technology Teams to develop and deliver a winning experience across all chosen technology platforms including Native IoS.
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the business & externally where Betfair gaming have dependencies in delivering product/ platform features
  • Provide regular updates on product performance and delivery progress against roadmap deliverables.

 

What We're Looking For... 

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong industry experience with excellent domain expertise in particular with regard to slots, live casino, gaming content providers and gaming generally
  • Stakeholder management & influencing skills: Is comfortable operating at pace to a high standard despite requiring the involvement of multiple stakeholders across multiple countries in order to deliver results. Actively builds a network of effective relationships across Flutter. Can get things done both through formal channels and informal networks. 
  • Strategic thinking: Has the ability to manage return on investment versus return on effort, and to prioritise accordingly.
  • Driving results: A highly motivated self-starter, with a proven track record of driving commercial growth through flawless execution of a robust marketing strategy in a fast paced, results-driven environment
  • Analytical thinking: Highly analytical, good attention to detail and excellent problem solver with a flair for identifying trends.
  • Customer focus: Dedicated to meeting and exceeding the expectations of external and internal customers. Customer-centric, thinks and acts with the customer in mind.

 

What you will bring.... 

Core Competencies:

Are you creative thinking in developing a mobile centric product experience?

Do you have project, process and time management skills enabling campaigns are consistently delivered on time and to spec despite various disparate stakeholders and work streams?

Do you have strong reporting and data analysis skills to identify key insights, value creation opportunities and process or performance improvements, which are all subsequently deployed back into the campaign planning process?

Do you have strong report writing and presentation skills with excellent knowledge of presentation tools?

Do you have demonstrable knowledge of and interest in the real money gaming landscape of suppliers & competitors?

You will have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in an e-commerce or m-commerce environment, ideally in a B2C product role.

You will bring experience in personnel management.
