Reporting to the UK&I FP&A Director, the Senior FP&A Analyst is responsible for providing senior management with performance insights, trends, drivers and  forecasts across a blend of financial and operational metrics. Within this team you would be responsible for analysing the divisions' finances with a critical eye - trying to spot data anomalies, trends, or deviations - and then introducing strategies for improvement and setting challenging targets.

The relationship with the brand finance teams, BI and commercial teams is absolutely pivotal to this role to be able to craft the monthly performance story, share insight and recommend strategies to deliver revenue growth and market share targets.

The role has direct exposure to the UK&I CFO and will regularly attend the monthly commercial performance review.

What You'll be Doing..

  • Review each of the brands month end results (SBG. Paddy Power, Betfair, Tombola), summarising financial and operational performance for the UK&I CEO and CFO.
  • Prepare monthly management reporting packs highlighting drivers of performance and identifying opportunities to improve
  • Prepare top-down UK&I forecasts to compare and contrast brand submissions, providing feedback on drivers and assumptions
  • Have a solid understanding of the Online gaming and sports business and critically challenge the story, linking the narrative to performance drivers and validate with data.
  • Build strong professional relationships with Group FP&A teams and supporting in the consolidation of UK&I division budgets into the wider Flutter Entertainment Group.
  • Become a teammate of the local brand finance business partners to streamline requests, self-serve on data and collaborate on management reporting improvements
  • Continuously challenge and develop the FP&A function to facilitate strategic and financial decision making.
  • Support on strategic projects as appropriate
