Role Overview/Purpose:

Successful candidates will be tasked with a range of duties aligned to ensuring that we are 100% Compliant to individual State Wagering regulation across the Fanduel US footprint.

 

This is what you'll be doing:

  • Extensive collaboration in management of each States wagering platform to tailor our product offering in alignment with the relevant regulatory directive in existing states in addition to new state launches. The role will require in-depth knowledge of the wagering approvals in each state and diligence in applying those requirements to our sport, competition, market and selection types.
  • Contributing to ideation and delivery of product development as it pertains to our market offering tooling across dual platforms.
  • Day-to-day management of compliance threats with a key focus on high-risk events including but not limited to draft/awards season, novelty wagering opportunities and complex regulatory requirements across the collegiate sports.
  • Continual assessment of marketplace with a keen eye on competitor offering to ensure Fanduel continues to lead the marketplace in consumer choice.
  • Collaborative approach to working including building strong relationships within the Risk & Trading vertical and multiple teams across 3 continents such as legal, trading team, commercial sports owners and risk operation staff as well as liaising directly with individual State Regulators.

Education, Qualifications & Experience

  • Industry experience is beneficial but not a requirement. 
  • Exposure to complex US regulatory landscape and an in-depth knowledge of the US Betting industry and landscape would be highly advantageous
  • Having a keen interest in cross-section of US professional and collegiate sports would be advantageous
  • Organisation skills are a necessity for the role.
