The Role...

Paddy Power is a unique brand that is famous for bringing a bit of craic and mischief to life and being the alternative in a category of same old, same old. The Games Content and Product Manager will have the responsibility to own the gaming portfolio as well as content positioning and merchandising in order to bring the PP brand to life at every gaming product touch point.

The role will be to live and breathe how our customers interact with our gaming products to ensure we deliver an intuitive, engaging and innovative & above all safe set of customer experiences that helps Paddy Power win in a highly competitive, regulated market.

The Games Content and Product Manager will shape & execute a vision and strategy for how Paddy Power can leverage its significant game portfolio & game supplier partnerships (in-house & external) to create a differentiated and market leading mobile led gaming offering.

The successful candidate will report to the Paddy Power Head of Gaming Product and will work closely with the Sportsbook Product Management team.

 

What you'll be doing...

  • Define and deliver on a vision for Paddy Power gaming content across products and game types in order to provide best in class customer experiences and drive performance
  • Curate a roadmap of in-house and 3rd party games that are released and promoted, aligned with key stakeholders in Commercial, Marketing and sister Brands and optimised based on performance analysis
  • Drive development of in-house and 3rd party content based on customer insight in order to deliver differentiated experiences for Paddy Power customers as well as maintaining relationships with partners to ensure ongoing mutually beneficial partnerships
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the Flutter group to maximise percentage of revenue generated from inhouse game studio content.
  • Work with colleagues in Product & Tech teams across the group to identify and onboard new content partners and games.
  • Own and optimise Paddy Power content positioning and site layouts and work with Product, Commercial and Operations stakeholders to ensure our sites & apps serve customer demand and improve performance as well as bring the unique Paddy Power brand to life
  • Drive financial performance through optimisation of range and position of games based on individual game margin optimisation and supplier revenue share agreement
  • Use customer insight and collaborate with Design to drive how content is merchandised onsite via new features and functionality, aligning to Paddy Power commercial strategy and proposition
  • Leverage personalisation capabilities e.g in-house models, platform capabilities etc. to drive commercial performance by ensure the right customers see the right content at the right time, and that model outputs are merchandised appropriately for Paddy Power customers
  • Own relationship with Operations and resolution of customer queries and issues related to Paddy Power gaming content
  • Provide regular updates on content performance and delivery progress against roadmap deliverables
  • Drive high performance and culture through people management and team building capabilities

 

What we're looking for

  • Strong industry experience with excellent domain expertise in particular with regard to slots, live casino, gaming content providers and gaming generally
  • Stakeholder management & influencing skills: Is comfortable operating at pace to a high standard despite requiring the involvement of multiple stakeholders across multiple countries in order to deliver results. Actively builds a network of effective relationships across Flutter. Can get things done both through formal channels and informal networks
  • Driving results: A highly motivated self-starter, with a proven track record of driving commercial growth through flawless execution of a robust strategy in a fast paced, results-driven environment
  • Analytical thinking: Highly analytical, good attention to detail and excellent problem solver with a flair for identifying trends
  • Customer focus: Dedicated to meeting and exceeding the expectations of external and internal customers. Customer-centric, thinks and acts with the customer in mind
  • Creative thinking in developing a mobile centric product experiences.
  • Project, process and time management skills enabling campaigns are consistently delivered on time and to spec despite various disparate stakeholders and work streams
  • Strong reporting and data analysis skills to identify key insights, value creation opportunities and process or performance improvements, which are all subsequently deployed back into the campaign planning process
  • Strong report writing and presentation skills with excellent knowledge of presentation tools
  • Demonstrable knowledge of and interest in the real money gaming landscape of suppliers & competitors
  • Minimum 3 years' experience working in an e-commerce or m-commerce environment, ideally in a B2C product role.
  • Experience in personnel management
