Job Title: Commercial Manager

Reporting Line: This role reports to the Senior Acquisition and Cross-Sell Manager

Job Location/Office: London or Dublin


Role Overview/Purpose
This role encompasses work across all products on the Betfair Gaming brand, and will be key to executing Gaming acquisition and cross-sell strategies. This will be achieved by working with the wider Commercial team to ensure the right customer facing proposition and plans are delivered to fit the business requirements.

The role will have a tangible impact on the commercial performance of the Gaming business, both immediately and long term and as such, the role has a major impact on the revenue growth of Betfair Gaming.

The successful candidate will need to work closely with all areas of various wider marketing departments; digital marketing channels, performance analysts, CRM and the brand campaign team to co-ordinate and execute plans across Gaming. The primary focus of the role will be to act as an enabler for PPB to efficiently scale new customer revenue for Gaming. 

This role will report directly to the Senior Acquisition and Cross-Sell Manager. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on monthly cross-sell plans for Betfair Gaming looking to drive increased customer conversion rates
  • Input into the ongoing development of Gaming offer strategy, providing perspective and guidance based on historical performance and current market conditions
  • Deliver regular weekly & monthly reporting for both Acquisition and Cross-Sell and present to wider stakeholders
  • Support the development of the Gaming marketing plans across the wider teams, working with Digital, CRM and Brand teams to ensure plans deliver against objectives
  • Working with stakeholders in Commercial, surface new opportunities for Gaming acquisition and cross-sell, using the full breadth of our product capabilities
  • Regularly monitor the conversion performance of our acquisition campaigns and landing pages
  • Work closely with the digital performance team to evaluate performance of acquisition campaigns
  • Work closely with CM to ensure our conversion and early life plans are fully optimised and efficiently executed
  • Executing monthly test & learn plans and A/B testing, using learnings to drive iterative improvement of marketing output
  • Responsible for achieving agreed targets in line with overall Gaming P&L commercial targets
  • Knows and understands cross-sell customer performance along with market/competitor trends to ensure we maintain a high-quality cross-sell experience that excels against competitors

Education, Qualifications & Experience

  • Commercial acumen and a will to deliver campaigns that impact revenue
  • Experience in a fast-moving ecommerce environment
  • A skilled collaborator, with the confidence to manage relationships with stakeholders across the business 
  • Demonstrable interest in the real money gambling landscape
  • Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Fluency in English is essential
  • Educated to degree level
